Cast: Jane Adams, Jon Lovitz, Lara Flynn Boyle, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Dylan Baker Studio: Trimark Ok, lets start by saying that this movie has won some major awards, Golden Globe nonimee for best screenplay, winner best ensemble cast- national board of review, winner International critics prize -98 Toronto and Cannes film festival and many others, and let me say that I think all these people should have their heads examined. I couldn't wait to see this movie after hearing all the hype and all the critics that put it on their top ten lists, then I watched it. I felt like a pervert, there are some sick disgusting things in this movie and I'm supposed to honor it? I don't think so. People's sexual body fluids squirting on the wall and other places, a man's obsession with drugging small boys and having sex with them (and this movie is labeled a comedy!) I say this is a horrible film and should not be rented. It starts off promising with a cameo from Jon Lovitz and then goes right down the tube from there.
